Mashups- between SAP ECC for Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC)?

Hello,

What Payroll Mashups can be used to update infotypes in SAP ECC (legacy system used for Payroll) that are not available in SuccessFactors Employee Central?

Both SAP ECC and SF EC are being used and we'd like to make it easier to maintain data between the two systems.

What Mashup documentation is available to review?

Were you able to solve your issue? I have the same question and would love to know the answer - I am working on an EC to SAP ECC Payroll integration project now and would need to activate mashup for payroll infotypes too, but we are still in the Discovery phase so I don't have any access to the EC system to look for myself!

Hi Drew, question is a little unclear to me. You use the mashups to maintain the pure payroll related data. If you have the option to maintain data via EC Portlet, do so, and replicate these data to the corresponding ECP Infotype (without any maintenance option). In case you don't find corresponding EC Portlet and mashup is available and it's related to Payroll purposes then use the mashup.

Hello Juergen, I have a related but slightly different question to this topic- how would you be able to pull a report to show what has replicated across from EC as opposed to what has manually been entered via mash up, and is there a way to distinguish mass uploads to mash up entries as opposed to individual fast entry input to mash up?

Hi juergen_prinz and Community Members,

My client uses SAP ECC for Payroll and SuccessFactors EC for Core HR.

They do not have ECP.

Bank Details, Benefits Info, Stock Info are not maintained in SF EC.

Is it possible to use Mash-Ups from SF to SAP to users can update the Infotypes listed below from 1 screen instead of having to log into a second system:

• 009
• 0207
• 0208
• 0209
• 0210
• 0171

If it is possible to use Mash-ups for this purpose, how can we find more information about Mash-Ups?

Hi Lin, don't know if I get your question correctly. You can use Data Replication Monitor as well as ECP report RP_HRSFEC_PTP_EE_REPLICATION to start as well check status of data replication. In cases you have entered data in ECP segments, which are usually replicated from EC you get a corresponding message in the replication monitor for example in Time Management. I'm not aware on other parts of the ECP replication and you need to adjust data accordingly.

I'm also not aware on a technical solution regarding mass uploads but I would solve it via a technical user concept, that mass uploads are only allowed by technical users and then you can filter / report on data changes.
