Managing Legacy and SAP Supplier IDs During S4HC Data Migration

In the data migration to S4HC, we have opted for SAP to generate new IDs for each legacy supplier ID.

For other migration files, such as PIRs and POs, where there is a "Supplier" field, should we use the new SAP IDs or the legacy IDs to migrate them ? If we need to use the SAP IDs, this will involve additional manual work for us. Alternatively, if we use the legacy IDs, will SAP recognize and map them automatically to the new SAP IDs generated ?

You may have used Supplier object before to migrate the vendors. So you can download the mapping of suppliers from the mapping , so you get the association of new and old supplier. You can upload the same in your new object migration.
