Hello Together,
In order to use a different RFQ type you will have to configure as well the Supplyer quotation document type.
the RFQ type must match the Supplier quotation doc type.
For EX: Standard we have RFQ doc type RQ and We want to configure a new type SA. We create a copy by RQ and assign the "Allowed item categories and Link to Purchase requisitions.
SPRO> IMG> Material Management> Purchasing > Sourcing > Define document types for RFQ.
Next step is to configure the corresponding Doc type for Supplier quotation.
SPRO> IMG> Material Management> Purchasing > Sourcing > Define Document Types for Supplier Quotations.
Here we create a copy by RQ and give the same type as above in our case SA and after we are configuring the follow on doc categories and types.
Next step is to allow the Document categories and types:
SPRO> IMG> Material Management> Purchasing > Sourcing > Blockchain Enablement > Allowed Document Categories and Types.
Here we create a new entry for doc category R and Doc type SA.
Now you will be able to see the follow on documents for the RFQ type SA in Manage RFQ app and create supplier quotations.
Regards,
Teo.
