Manage processing rules - mass creation of rules

Hello SAP experts,

Is there a way to create in mass processing rule for bank statement ?

I know it's possible to export existing rules from one system and import them into a new system, but here I'm looking to create new rules in mass (similar to an LSMW method).

Thank you for your question. To clarify, in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the app Manage Processing Rules for Bank Statements (F2919) allows:
✔Export of existing rules to Excel
✔ Modification and re-import of those rules

But creating entirely new rules via Excel upload is not supported. New rules must be created manually in the system, after which export/import can be used for adjustments.

If mass creation via Excel is essential, I suggest submitting a requirement through the SAP Customer Influence Portal.

Thank you for your question about creating bank statement processing rules in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in bulk.

The supported method for bulk creation is via the “Manage Bank Statement Processing Rules” app, using the Excel export/import feature. This is SAP’s official and recommended approach for both setup and replication across systems.

Please note.

• LSMW and scripting tools are not available in the Public Cloud.
• No public API exists for mass creation.
• The Excel template is the closest equivalent to legacy upload tools.

If your system includes scope item 4X8 – Advanced Bank Statement Automation (standard from release 2408), it supports rule suggestions and enhanced mass maintenance.
