Hi friends,

We are using strategy 20 i.e., make to order scenarios where after received of sales order all it component get reserved and dedicted to that respectively sales order.

Now the issue raise when the 5 to 6 sales order are been created where all this sales order has common semi finished. But after MRP run system create different planned order for each sales order. We want that system should club the respectively semi-finished planned order.

Please comment.

Dear Sun,

1. Individual/collective indicator "2" collective requirements for the Header Material so that you will get your dependent requirements clubbed together. This has to be done to material master of the semi-finished material in MRP 4 view.

2. Also with reference to the Availability check in MRP3, please check the Checking group settings in SPRO.

This would solve this issue.

But in strategy 20 semi-finished order get reserved to dedicted sales order, will this strategy allow me to club semi-finished with this strategy.

Hello Sun ,

Make to order, Planning strategy: 20 ,

You already mention on your earlier post, Semi finished material common for all the sales order.

So when you select the Individual/coll.-1 that means the stock is link to specific that sale order and create the planned order with respect to the sales order individual,

If you select 2-collective requirement that means the stock is free and you can use it for any order, Qty are clubbed for all the orders. Here it is not reserved for specific order but with respect to sales order system create the req of all qty.

Hi Umesh/ Soloman,

Thanks for sharing your view. Soloman strategy 20 is not set to semi-finished it is set at FG level. While umesh as per you clubbing of SFG planned order is possible.

I will test and confirm you both shortly.
