Maintenance Plan Scheduling By Key Date

Hi Gurus,

Does any one knows how to schedule the maintenance plan on the last day of the month for example on 28th Feb, 31st Aug and 30th Sept.

I tried to schedule by "time key date" but it doesnot help. It calls on a particular date which doesnot fullfill my requirement if the month is shorter than 30 days for example February.

Please suggest.

Hello Gulshan,

Set your period as 1 DAY.

Scheduling indicator as Factory calendar,

Factory calendar as AM

Give any start cycle as last day of a month.

Schedule it.

The logic behind: AM is a factory calendar which only involves last days of months as working day. Since your period is 1 day, SAP goes into factory calendar and finds first available working day. Which is the last day of next month.
