Hi,

Refer this documentation for the linkages of Maintenance Order types to Settlement Profiles in the standard system: Configuring Settlement Profiles for Maintenance Orders 

By default, looks to be that only WBS and CTR are setup as optional valid settlement receivers in the settlement profiles.

Note that there is a SSCUI named "Create Settlement Profile" where you can edit the default Settlement Profiles (or create and link new profiles)

Refer screenshot below where I have edited the YEAM04 settlement profile (that is linked to the YA02 Proactive Maintenance Order Type) to make the settlement to a Fixed Asset an optional receiver.

Theoretically that should allow you to settle the maintenance order costs to a Fixed Asset, but admittedly I have not done a full end to end test on my end. If you make the config changes in your system and test the capitalisation process, could you please let me know how it goes?

Yes, it’s possible, but not directly. only maintenance costs that qualify as capitalizable (like asset improvements) can be routed through investment measures and settled to an Asset Under Construction before becoming a fixed asset. Routine maintenance remains an expense.
