Maintain restrictions in business role

Hello everyone,

May I get your kind input?

I created a Business Role regarding Business Partners. The goal is to be able to see only Business Partners with the role "customer". The created Role has the following restrictions:

1) Restricted permission to write, read and value help in the access categories 

2) The following Business Catalogs

3) In the restrictions itself I maintained the BP-Role restriction to be able to see and manage BP only with the role "customer" (the other restrictions I put on "unrestricted")

In the tests I assigned only this role to me and if I open the "manage business partner" App I see all of the partners. So, the restriction doesn't work.

Does anyone know how this problem could be fixed?

I tried to duplicate your concern, and found there was a problem. Restriction is not working for this app.

Do you mind opening a ticket with SAP in the component LO-MD-BP and ask our support to further investigate the problem?

Post your ticket number here and I can provide more info to my colleagues to get to the bottom of the issue, including the test cases I did.

Thanks for opening the ticket and got a definite answer.

Just for the future reference to this topic in our community, the restrictions were not implemented for this app.  There is an SAP Note for the subject: 2847030 - S4HC: Business Role's Restriction doesn't work in Business Partner Fiori Apps.
