Hello,
We have Hub and Spoke Warehouse Management setup in SAP. When we have demand in Spoke, it will create stock transfer order to Hub, and the Hub will then procure materials to feed Spoke. We have Transport lanes setup and Material master records setup for External & Internal procurement based on Site. This is working well.
However we have the additional scenario that does not appear to work in relation to Hub & Spoke, that someone may be able to assist with.
We have Hub A, Spoke B, Spoke C.
Spoke C has demand for Material X but has no stock.
Spoke B has sufficient Material X in stock, that it does not need.
Hub has no Material X in stock.
We want MRP to first check if there is stock in Spoke B and propose a stock transfer order to Spoke C.
Obviously if there was no stock in Spoke B, we would then want the Hub to procure and transfer to Spoke C.
Can anyone tell me how to have the normal Hub & Spoke, but also get MRP to check the additional spokes for stock before procuring via the Hub ?
Thanks

Hi Harshal,
Thanks for responding. Yes, I have Transport Lanes between Spoke C and B. I attempted to adjust the priority of the lanes, but when I placed Spoke C to Spoke B as priority over the Hub to Spoke lanes, then the system keeps creating Stock Transfer Orders for Spoke to Spoke even when in other situations, there is no stock available in the Spoke.
Thanks,
Kevin.
