Hi there!
When I perform a system copy of an S/4, I need to rename the logical system through SE06.
When I perform a system copy of a BW, the logical system is not allowed to be renamed.
Correct?
But what, if its an S/4 with "ERP" on client 100 and BW on client 101?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Dominik.
Try the following :
> Define the logical system name in the new copied system using Tcode BD54
> Run BDLS in new system and select /change the new logical system per requirement
> You can perform a test run as well.
> It is advisable to execute BDLS in the background to avoid timeout issues in foreground
Hope it helps.

Hi
You may not rename the logical system name, you have to do the BDLS process to create the new logical system name and do the conversion process, Kindly refer to the blog system copy port process steps.
