Does anybody know in what case the field "locked nominal amount in position currency" will be filled in when running queries based on logical database FIT_TR_POSITIONS

Dear Stef,

In Securities Account Management, there is a function "Restraints on Disposal ".

You can use this function to block and unblock securities positions.

Please see the online help:

[Editing Restraints on Disposal |http://aiokeh.wdf.sap.corp:1080/SAPIKS2/contentShow.sap?_CLASS=IWB_EXTHLP&TMP_IWB_TASK=DISPLAY&_LOIO=D26F81BF415E11D182B10000E829FBFE&_SLOIO=42C9039B341A6BADE10000000A1553F6&LANGUAGE=EN&RELEASE=704&_SEQNUM=0&_SCLASS=IWB_STRUCT]

There is and Example

On 12/06, you have 1000 units of stock A in securities account XY. You plan to sell 300 of these stocks on 01/15. To ensure that 300 units are available for sale on this day, you define the following restraint on disposal in the system:

● Company code: ABC

● ID number: Stock A

● Securities account: XY

● Units: 300

● Locked Until: 01/15/08

● Reason for Lock: B

If a sale or another reduction in stock is entered, the system checks whether there are still at least 300 units of stock A remaining in securities account XY. Therefore, up until 01/15, the system only permits sales totaling 700 units.

In reporting, the information will be filled in fields such as "NOMINAL_AMT_LO_PC" Locked Nominal Amount in Position Currency and UNITS_LOCKED "Number of Blocked Units", etc.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Jasmine

Hello,

Thanks a lot for answer.. But when I tried it now, the logical database FTI_TR_POSITIONS still gives in that there is no locked amount, this is not correct because i just locked it on the date that i am running my report
