Line item type 07009 (cumulative interest) not available for asset migration?

Hi experts,

I am trying to migrate asset postings to S/4HANA Public Cloud. For this purpose, we have activated an additional depreciation area for asset accounting and want to migrate the accumulated interest. According to the XML template file, there is the line item type 07009 for accumulated interest.

I get the message

"Line item type 07009 for cumulated transfer values is invalid".

Is this line item type not supported or did we do anything wrong?

Hi Rado,

"Interest" in general is not supported in S4H Cloud in Asset Accounting. Consequently no depreciation key contains any interest phase and the migration is prevented by error message. You do not need to pursue this anymore. However, the migration template can be used in many product version, so the line item type 07009 in included there technically.
