Hi Nandita,

you should check this in customizing (transaction SPRO):

Go to:

Financial Accounting (New)

--> Financial Accounting Global Settings

--> Ledgers

--> Ledger

Check the following activities:

--> Define Ledgers for General Accounting

--> Define and Activate Non-Leading Ledgers.

Active Ledgers follow from this customizing, whatever is active gets posted to with FB01/FB01L.

Kind regards,

Hi Rudolf,

I have a problem in transaction FB50L. For making a validation on the General Ledger field, i use the exit EXIT_SAPLF048_001.

I don't know why, but this exit gets avoided in case the Gr.Ledger field values is "ZY".

Do you know if thers any other specific exit for this case? The version system component is SAP ERP Central Component 5.0.

IMG - Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) - Ledgers - Ledger.

As per above mentioned path u can see the ledger configuration steps. As per standard SAP notes every company must use at least one leading ledger because it automatically receiving the setting apply to that company code. It uses the same accounting principle which is used by the consolidation financial statement. By default currency of leading ledger is of company code.

Please let me know anymore help u need.
