KP06 - Create a Selection Variant

Hi,

I was trying to create a custom transaction for KP06, whereby I can have the Planning Layout and the Cost Centre Group defaulted.

However in SHD0, the Planning Layout cannot be saved "With Content" as it does not pick it up when I go to the relevant Planning Layout and I don't see an option anywhere where I can manually set the value for it.

Now I thought of creating a selection variant and then creating a new transaction code that starts with that Selection Variant, but KP06's option to create a Selection Variant is unable/greyed out.

Do anyone have an idea of what else I can try?

The only solution that comes quickly to my mind is create a planning profile for your users, that defaults to the intended layout. The users can have this planning profile preset in their user profile.

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for your suggestion. I was doing that just now before I even looked at your answer. I am going to go with that route and just also set the Authorisation in place for the specific users to only be able to use that Planning Profile which has that Planning Layout only.
