Key Difference - SSAM in ECC Vs S4HANA

Hi Everyone, 

Can someone please help me to know the key differences between implementing SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM) with ECC versus S/4HANA?

Hi Ashu,

the main difference for the implementaion is the installation. In the ECC the first step is the installation of the Mobile Add-On as described in 2660361.

In S/4HANA up to Release 1809 you would need to make the installation of the Mobile Add-On according to 2493602.

In S/4Hana from Releaso 1909 and above you can do the installation of the components with TCI Notes as described in 2977434.

Thanks @Philip for the useful information. Just would like to know any difference in adding features like features which will work with installation of SSAM with S4 not with ECC

You are restricted by the system itself. You can't add a S4 feature if you run your app in the ECC.

For example: You can only use the inspection lot functionality in the ECC. In the S4 you can use the checklist functionality.
