Key Data Structure - PS

Hi Experts,

I am working on a project, and Have to Prepare KDS (Key data structure) document.

As I am aware that PS does not have organisation structure, It derives the same from MM, FICO and other mouldes.

Still I want to know what Should I put in SAP PS KDS document.

Hi,

It depends on what is the purpose of this KDS document.  PS module does not have own organizational structure as you mentioned.

Hi Paul,

Yes, we have concurrence that PS does not have its own org structure.

But I have to prepare the BBP and my team lead is asking for KDS

Cant help it, any suggestion ( I have already told about SAP PS - no Org structure)

Hi Rohit,

The basic thing for PS from the Business perspective would be to discuss different project types relevant for the business.  Like Customer and Investment projects, like CAPEX and OPEX, etc.

Later on you can decide how that will be reflected within system customizing, like project profiles, classification, naming convention, characteristics, etc.

Discussing management reporting requirements you will need a structure for Value Categories.
