KA02 Error while saving; I_ERKRS = IDE1; RK2CIDE1

Hi Seniors

I am not able to edit a primary cost element.

System ends in Dump with error  Program "RK2CIDE1 " not found.

I have no operating concern with IDE1 and not able to understand from where System is picking up this Operating Concern.

This happens in Function Module RKE_BUSINESS_SEGMENT_EVALUATE.

Did any one face this problem?

I found the root cause of the error. I hope the following discussion helps others in similar situation in future. As per SAP Notes,

163543 - Performance problems when changing cost elements,
981674 - Performance with master data change: Including LEDNR,
746041 - Performance problems w/ Change/Delete of master data Part2

COSP and COSS data is read related to the cost element for the period in validity; In this case, SAP Standard Data from past years remained while the Org units were deleted; The cost element in scenario was same as that of the old data. This caused the problem and system generated dump;
