Hello Experts,

Maybe I am phrasing the question wrong...
But this is the issue. The item text in the PR looks something like this...

But the text is cut short in the PO like so...

What could be the reason?

Thanks, in advance 🙂

Hello sharonphilip,

Please check the configuration related to copy of text from PR to PO.

Step 1: Please follow below path:

Material Management -> Purchase -> Purchase Order -> Text for Purchase Order-> Define Copy rules for item text

Step 2: Here choose the relevant text

Step 3: then go to Text linkages and check the setting. Fix column should be blank. Below screenshot will help you out.

Hello vaibhaverp...
Thank you for the response...
But since I am new to the Material Management processes, could you please mention the T-codes I can use to check this?

Alright... I just checked...
The fix column is empty as seen below:

Is there anything else I can check?

Hello sharonphilip,

It looks like that you have done the correct settings in SPRO.

One last thing you can check => The PR item text is 3 in sequence which means that first it will search text from Contract, then from RFQ and at last PR item. If there is text available in cotract or RFQ then that will take precendence while copying. If it does not work then check following SAP notes:
