Item category for sales order item that is free of charge and considered on billing plan documents

Dear all,

I am looking for an item category that is free of charge and will be considered in the billing documents of a billing plan.

The use case is to sell a list of services, item category CTAD including some free of charge services, presently item category TADN. There is a billing plan required and it is working from a financial point of view. The customer wants to see the free of charge positions printed on the billing document for the down payment.

This is presently not the case in standard SAP. How can I achieve this?

I can not see the details of the item categories in SSCUI 103411, presently only CTAD, TAD and TADN are offered due to material type SERV.

- Is there an item category for another material type that will allow the desired functionality?

- If not, how can I get a new item category into the system that will be free of charge, considered in billing plan and printed on billing documents?

Currently, these are the Free of Charge scope items offered on S/4HANA Cloud systems:

Free Goods Processing (BKA)‎

Free of Charge Delivery (BDA)‎

Please use item category "TANN" in sale order to make invoice value as "0".

Hello Neeraj,

TANN is not offered for SERV. Please find below what is offered by the system:

I assume TANN will require another material type than SERV.
