IT 0009 payment method

Dear Experts,

I am not able to remove / hide unused payment mehtods from the drop down list in IT0009 presently there are 3 types ie.,

Blank: Cash payment

E : Cash Payment

T : Bank Transfer

presently we are using Balank for Cash paymen.,t and users are cofused with E so i have to remove / hide "E" from the list

Please guide me how can i do this

Hi Sanm,

You don't have to remove 'E' from T042ZL. Better you do this following settings -

1. Open V_T042ZL from SM30 and Press 'Maintain'.

2. Select Country 'IN' and Payment Method 'E' and to change the config press 'Detail' Button.

3. In detail screen un-check 'Allowed for personnel payments' in 'Payment method classification' tab.

4. Now check from PA30 and 'E' will not come.

Hi,

Please migrate as below in spro:

Personnel Management --> Personnel Administration --> Personal Data --> Bank Details --> Define Payment Method.

There will be two tabs to remove the unwanted entry 'E'......remove from the entry from 'Payment methds of the country' (table V_T042ZL ) and Payment methods of the company code (table V_T042E) and it will not appear in the drop down of the IT0009.

Please let me know in case of any queries.

Hi,

I have removed "E" from the table v_T042E in the respective co., code and not in V_T042ZL as it is SAP standard country specific. now again it is showing in the list i wanted just hide from the list

If i remove from T042ZL where it will any where pls. clear the doubt.
