Issue refering master form on content form in AdobeLiveCycle designer.

Hi,

I am facing an issue when trying to reference a master form in a content form.
I have checked a similar question (https://answers.sap.com/questions/13029112/issue-while-referring-the-master-page-from-a-maste.html) and have not obtained any result

I am trying to create a form template for Purchase orders, and for that I downloaded the content form "MM_PUR_PURCHASE_ORDER" from 'Maintain Form Template' Fiori App along I also downloaded the master form "APOC_DEMO_FORM_MASTER_BR".

I then changed the logo in the "Portrait_OutboundLetter" and deleted all the other fragments and referenced it on the content form.

I then uploaded this template to a custom content template (in maintain form templates) I created and assigned it to the form template for the purchase orders.

When trying to display this template I cannot display the content of the master form alongside the content form.

Additionally I have successfully changed information on the content form and I can confirm that the changes can be displayed on the display of the PO form

Interesting, have never seen that type of object in Adobe LiveCycle (Portrait_OutboundLetter). Did you make the change in the master page hierarchy or elsewhere?

When downloading the "APOC_DEMO_FORM_MASTER_BR" master form the Portrait_OutboundLetter is a standard fragment of the template

I have checked that for my case I should use the Portrait_OutboundLetter and that is the reason why i chose that fragment

Afraid I cannot offer any assistance then because I have never seen this fragment usage in Adobe LiveCycle and I don't see reference to it in my version.

I actually think my issue might be related to configuration, the information related to the master page seems to have a standard format. How did you configure your master template in the SAP central business configuration?

I have configured a rule in the SAP CBC for the master forms

I have added a rule with the number 997

where I chose the "APOC_DEMO_FORM_MASTER_BR" template for the form model

But I still cannot get the master form to look like the "APOC_DEMO_FORM_MASTER_BR"

How are you? I have excluded the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" and included the Tag "SAP S/4HANA Cloud Extensibility" for this question, as Custom Form is related to Extensibility.

Hello Prasanth,

Thank you for your response, I have already followed those steps and I encountered 2 issues.

The first one was that I was not able to see on the form the footer that I created.
The second was that downloading the form from a PO would only show the master form even though I have defined the content form as shown in my original question.

Quick question, did you uploaded your Master Form within CBC activity 101184 - Define Rules for Determination of Master Form Template?

If no, can you please check it?

If yes, did you added the form template within the rule for determination?

There are 2 things that I can suggest:
1. If possible, use SOMU Master form as template instead of APOC one.

2. Instead of uploading logo directly in fragment, use "Manage Logos" app to upload the logo and don't upload any Logo in ALCD (just Logo binding is enough) and update the CBC config with this logo (Determine Rules for Master form determination).
