D Friends,
I’ve created a transaction variant for VA02 to make Inco-terms1& 2 and PY terms in display mode. I made these 3 fields as display in these screens: 4440, 4900, 4303 and 4453. Then I activated that trans variant and did a test run. But all these 3 fields did not grayed out in the test run. I even tried testing in VA02 directly. There also these 3 fields were not grayed out. Is something missing or these fields cannot be grayed out at all?
Pl suggest. I've searched the forum and google. I'm getting results that it can be done thru SHD0 but my concern is not how it can be done but why it is not happening in SHD0.
Thanks.

Dear R Sgr
When we create a screen variant for sale order it doesn't work until we assign it in VOV8 to that specific order type. No matter you have activated it or not you have to assign the variant to order tye in VOV8. Assign this and activate the variant and check. I hope it will work for you.
Thank$

The other option you can try is removing the change authorisation in VA02 for specific users with the help of your Security team.

Hi,
Plz check the Trasaction Variant once again in the Display Mode and check whether you have marked display of Payment Terms and Incoterms at header level or Item leve
you can assign the same Variant in the Sales document type in VOV8
