Issue in Pricing Condition

I have configured the Argentina pricing procedure where the tax-related condition type J1AU has an access sequence and is a statistical condition. Another condition type, J1AX, does not have an access sequence but should copy its value from J1AU.I have assigned the standard routine 333 in the Alt. Condition Value field for J1AX as per standard configuration. However, I’m facing an issue — during sales order creation, J1AU is correctly calculated from the condition record, but J1AX does not copy the value at that point. The value only appears after the order is saved.I need J1AX to copy and display the J1AU value before saving the sales order.

Routine 333 is designed to copy or derive values from a preceding condition like J1AU or J1AP. It applies exemptions and thresholds based on customer-specific tax settings. The logic is sequential — the routine expects the source condition to be calculated first. If the source condition J1AU is not yet evaluated during order entry, the dependent condition J1AX may not display its value until later (e.g., after saving).

In your case, where J1AX doesn’t show the copied value from J1AU before saving, this logic confirms that:

  • Routine 333 expects J1AU to be calculated first.
  • If J1AU is not finalized during simulation, J1AX won’t populate.
  • You may need to adjust the pricing procedure sequence or enhance the routine to ensure J1AU is available earlier.
