Issue in delivery from project stock

Hi Experts,

We have created a sales order and it is linked WBS element in SAP s4 HANA public cloud. We have added the project Q stock as well. System is allowing to do picking but PGI is not happening, we are getting this error: " Sales order stock 24 000010 does not exist"

Please let us know the solution on this asap as client will test the system for the project sales.

Did you check stock for Sales Order 24 item 10 with stock overview transaction (and status of SO item) and not Project Stock?

I am unable to understand where exactly I need to look upon. We have mentained Project Q stock and in material master we have stratergy group as Make to order in MRP 3 view. Still my sales order is not taking the project Q stock. Please let me know the steps required to create a PGI for project stock which will take the Project Q stock.

You need to ensure the sales order item is having account assignment to the WBS element. You are getting the error, because the item is on project stock and not on sales order stock.

So you need to check the account assignment on sales order item - and the requirement type. At least this is what works on prem. Not sure if you can customise your own item categories and requirements types in public.

Please refer below steps that might help resolve the error:

1. Check whether the stock is available in the project Q stock. You can use the transaction code MMBE to verify this.

2. Verify that the sales order is linked to the correct WBS element.

3. Check the material master data for the product that you are trying to pick and confirm that it is available in the correct storage location.

4. Check whether there are any issues with the system configuration or authorization that might be preventing the PGI from happening.

5. Check the SAP S4 HANA public cloud forums or reach out to the SAP support team for further assistance.

Hi Lakshmipathi,

I was able to find the OSS note. Right now we have created the Project with revenue and created a new demand again for lets say Material 1, PR generated automatically and we converted PR to PO. Then we did GR and goods movement happened with movement type 231: Consumption for sales order from unrestricted project stocK.

In goods movement, we entered the particular sales order and assigned the WBS element.Next we went to VA02, assigned the WBS element and saved it.

We are able to do Picking and we can see the stock got reduced from project stock but while doing PGI we are getting this error: Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use 25 EA : WASHINGMACHINE1234 1020 ALSR.

Please help us any settings we need to do in s4 hana public cloud, Please note we are using S4HC and no controls in item category can be changed.
