Dear Community,
I need to create CDFF CITI bank format to foreign payments. Structure example: #AA#BBB#20210409#####GBP#999.87##54213235##########OUR###9802317969001#0007654987604######TESTE UNITX BRASIL LTDA#####TESTE UNITX BRASIL LTDA#RUA JOAO DA SILVA JUNIOR N 987#S/NO#MUNICIPIOX####AB87CDEF98765430407518#JOAO DA SILVA A SANTOS LTDA##XZ1234 KENDAL ADRESS A A1 9YZ#REINO UNIDO##IS#ABCDEF22####KLGEFSW BANK#PO BOX 9988 - 23 COLMORE ROW#BIRMINGHAM###############PURCHASE MERCHANDISE INV NR WH54321####################
Is there any standard format?
Regards,
Helder
Dear Helder,
we do not provide any similar standard format on S/4 Hana Cloud. There has been however a format - J1UI_CITYBANK - provided for Israel - which seems to be similar. Pls see the note 2200577. I am not sure, if you have also a chance to go to a non-Cloud S/4 Hana system. If not I am attaching it also here. zoz-citi-test.xml
You can upload it via the SSCUI 100558 - Map Payment Format Data and create a new format mapping, new format, payment method, etc. and test accordingly. If it is necessary, you can change what needed. Or you can always create a new format mapping from scratch using the SSCUI Map Payment Format Data.
I am adding also link to our blogs about creating a format mapping and format:
https://blogs.sap.com/2019/03/31/create-copy-delete-payment-medium-format/
https://blogs.sap.com/2018/11/05/create-copy-delete-release-in-map-payment-format-data/
Also, does the CITI bank not accept XML files (pain.001)? Because for this we have the formats CGI_CT and its country-specific versions. If XML is accepted, my recommendation would be to go for it instead of the CDFF.
Kind regards,
Ondrej
