Is there a safely cancel a 'Creating Correction File' Step on Migration Cockpit?

Hello.

I know I can cancel the job though SM50, but it's like force-cancel the job, which can make Fiori App(Migrate My Data) working strangely, makes softlock which are job is not finished forever.

I accidently pushed the button, but there is a 80,000 data which are wrong, so It takes so much time - Is there safely cancel the job?

Hi Chaneul,

for some action, we have a CANCEL possibility, e.g. stopping simulation.

If the job is running, please check MONITORING screen. If the cancelling is implemented, you will find there the button.

Yes, but this case - cancelling is not implemented, so it's greyed out.

I have to cancel the job itself by using SM50 - and on Fiori side, they got an error and got canceled as what i wanted.

Hi Sybille,

Cancellation is only possible for Simulate and Migrate step via Monitoring. Other activities can only be canceled via Backend transaction SM37.

Indeed, only for simulation and migration the CANCEL is available.
