Hi All
Within our business we don't limit the amount of time people are able to be off sick, however we have an example where an employee has been off for over 12 months, however we can not extend the sickness in the system. Is anyone aware of a limit being in place? f so, is there a way to extend this?
Thanks

Hi All
We have fixed this, within Manage Data we have changed the Maximum Duration in months for the time type, which was previously hidden within Configure Object Definition. We have now extended the duration to 36 months.
Thanks all for your responses.

jasper.de.groot We have time accounts in place but no take rules with restrictions. So the time accounts could be what is putting the limit in place?
ejainee1 Thank you - but this doesn't seem to cover EC, looks to be payroll only?

That depends on your setup really. If you don't use time accounts for sick leave (often referred to as balances within the business), then it's just a request where you theoretically should be able to make it last as long as desired (granted the person hasn't been terminated as that would sort of be a hard stop).
If you use a time account with a certain end date, then of course you'll be restricted and you may want to lift the restriction. The final option to restrict it is via a take rule (but I can't verify what you have in place), which could be adjusted.
