Is there a better way then the ST03N to show users that uses a specific transaction?

Hey there,

I have to view the usage of a transaction which users have accessed in the last time.

The ST03N is ok for that but in our productiv system not that performant and also crash sometimes so that is not that usefull.

Is there a better way to face this problem?

first thought was about using SCMON, but it seems the users calling the transactions / programs are not part of the recording.

If you are not afraid of creating a small ABAP program, then there is a function module SAPWL_WORKLOAD_GET_STATISTIC that might be useful for you. You will get the information in table APPLICATION_STATISTIC.

Hi Tom,

we have developed a tool to process this data in mass, prepare it and export it to an Excel file. It is also possible to filter before the export. You can either put in a list of users to see the transactions they each used, or a list of transactions to find out who used them.
