Hi,

Is possible to increase the scheduling horizon beyond the 3 numeric numbers (eg 999 maximum) either for Plant or MRP group or both? (Tables T399D or T438M field UMTHZ, data element UMTHZ.)

Hello @AdrianW 

Theoretically it is possible to modify the UMTHZ data element and enhance it. However that would lead to a massive regeneration of all dependent objects and quite possibly break the system. 

Why do you need to enhance rescheduling period? Are 3 digits not enough? That is almost 3 years!

We are in the manufactoring industry and have some production items that can take up to 5 years to produce! (Beyond the limit of 999 days)

Fully appreciate that enhancing the data element could have a greater impact on the system than we would wish for.

Are there any BADIs that could adjust the scheduling horizon dynamically?
