Is it possible to staging materials to a production order using pick list strategy

Hi,

Based on 3DV scope item test script, the steps mentioned maintaining control cycle using release order strategy. I tried to create control cycle with pick parts strategy but when I try to stage the materials, i encounter this error "E RMPU 311 WM material staging for production order reservation not possible". Is pick parts not possible to be used together with embedded extended warehouse management in S4HC?

The problem with release order parts is that I cannot maintain the control cycle without a material. I have a few hundred materials to be picked and it is quite tedious to maintain the control cycle for each material. And not to forget when the BOM of the production gets changed with new materials, I need to create the control cycle.

Best Regards.

Hi,

Pick parts can only be provided for planned orders in the context of series production, which means material staging for pick parts in discrete and process manufacturing has to be done in the application specific transactions. The MF60 (App 'Stage Materials for Production') does not support the provision of pick parts in discrete manufacturing.

You can use the corresponding single transaction (CO02 - App 'Change Production Order') / COR2 - App 'Change Process Order') for production and process orders.

Pick parts staging can only be done for repetitive manufacturing through MF60 (App 'Stage Materials for Production').

Best regards,

Luan

Hello regarding your comment here "Pick parts staging can only be done for repetitive manufacturing through MF60 (App 'Stage Materials for Production')" I'm using this in my case of REM but when staging the materials the stage is not performed (the stage status is not changing and no save button). Do you have idea what could be the cause/ missing thing ?
