Dear experts,
Currently I am working in a project where we are moving the old system to the cloud. Part of the scope is to switch from gATP to aATP. However, I have some concerns on how to proceed during the period of time where both would be needed.
Actually, this will be implemented first for a region and later phased in for the other region. The problem is that although they are run in different servers and will have they own SAP systems, they will both share the DEV system meaning in DEV we need to have both aATP and gATP.
I understand that aATP is activated at Availability Checking Groups level so I was thinking to create new groups specific for aATP so I can easily switch on the aATP functionality. However, I still have reservations in what other implications this shared environment would have and especially related to all the enhancements that are linked to gATP.
