Is it possible to enhance My Inbox app on S4 Cloud?

Hello everyone,

is it possible to add custom logic into the My Inbox app? For example, our client requires that the Cost center is shown on the approval in the My Inbox. We would like to add custom fields and put in logic that would populate those fields but I was not able to find if this is possible or not.

Do we have any new updates on this topic to Enhance the My Inbox app on the S4 Cloud system?

We have to Enhance the standard list overview in the Fiori App My Inbox by adding PR line-item description and material group + description.

Should be possible, I guess by connecting to the SAP BTP any ideas?

I opened a ticket to SAP to get clarification on this question and they confirmed it's currently not possible to enhance the My Inbox app on the Cloud system.

Hi,

Currently it is not supported to add custom fields in My Inbox - Basic Details screen.

Please refer to this KBA for your information:

If it is really important to enable the mentioned functionality for your business, you may consider raising a feature request. SAP Customer Influence enables customers to submit improvement requests and to openly vote on them. 
The detailed steps are as follows:
1. Get started by opening SAP Customer Influence (https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/).
2. Register and accept the Terms of Use
3. Choose a session of your interest
4. Search whether there are existing improvement requests and if yes, start voting and commenting
5. If no existing improvement requests, create and submit your improvement request

Hello Zoran,

Custom actions in My Inbox are decision options, e.g. Approve or Reject, which are modeled by the S/4HANA Cloud consumer applications in the underlying SAP Business Workflow environment. The custom actions are application-specific and can vary for different workflows.

Hi Prasobh, thanks for the links. However, they do not explain if it's possible to add new fields and enhance the My Inbox app with custom logic.
