Is it Possible to Disable Recent Search Feature Introduced in Business ByDesign 2502 Upgrade?

When working on any object list view, the recent searches appears when the user clicks on the search box.

The enhancement introduced in upgrade 2502, which includes recent searches, is a standard feature of our system and it is currently not possible to disable it.
