invisible Import settings for public dimension SAP SAC

SAP Analytical Professionals

Any idea why Import settings are not available for public dimensions in SAP Analytical cloud ? Only Model is having edit query and edit import settings options.

Hello,

Perhaps it's because for public dimensions,

such as materials, cost centers, profit centers,

they are master data, and more constant, don't not get changed as much as transaction data imported to model.

and you have variety of ways to import data, including excel upload.

I assume that's the current difference between data management of public dimension and model.

That's need for public dimension for now.
