Hi All,

Can someone please tell me what an Intrastat Report is? What is the siginificance of thsi report? What is it used for?

Are there any configurational settings required for generation of this report?

INTRASTAT report is a statistical report that includes all Cross-border flow of Goods between EU countries. There are 25 countries that are part of European Union. As per EU law, INTRASTAT report for ARRIVALS (Purchasing) and DISPATCHES (Sales) need to be submitted by each business organization that do cross-border trasfer of Goods between EU countries.

MEIS is the tcode for INTRASTAT Arrivals report

VE01 is the tcode for INTRASTAT Dispatches report

You can use the following transactions that will open up a wizard to carry out the necessary configuration set-up for sucessfull creation INTRASTAT reports

WZFT01 for Arrivals & WZFT02 for Dispatches.

In addition to the above two, you may have to do some configuration under Periodic Declaration under Foreign Trade data link for MM & SD configuration tree too

Intrastat is a report particulat to Europian Union, which gives the required statistics for a company for filing legal forms, taxes etc when the goods move in European Union countries. It is a complete set of configuration which is done using Intrastat - Cockpit. It is functionally also a different knowledge particular to EU.

Intrastat is the method of collecting information on the acquisition and dispatch of goods between member states of the European Union (EU). This data is submitted to the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) Statistics and Analysis of Trade Unit.

If your turnover for trading in goods within the EU exceeds the Intrastat threshold - currently £260,000 per calendar year - you must register for Intrastat and submit monthly Supplementary Declarations to HMRC.

Intrastat is a trade report where you report movements between 2 different EU countries.

It has to be done monthly for imports and exports.

It requires customizing and master data maintenance.
