Hi SAP Guru's,

I am trying to locate two summarization programs for Internal Orders

1) One that will role up the values at the IO level to the IO group node level.

From what I understand is that a summarisation program will be needed for this happen.

2) And also that also another program will be needed to bring these summary (aggregate figures) into the summarisation tables.

This will allow the summarisation reports to be run properly as they should pick values from the summarisation tables.

Please give any information you feel relevant to make this to happen including fields, table(s) and program(s).

WIll awards points.

many thanks,

Sanjay

Thanks Eli,

But would these reports be time consuming and need certain configuration so that the report wouldn't take a long time to run as there could potentially be many orders to summarise?

thanks,

Sanjay

Hi Sanjay,

Not at all, because these reports are already running on totals tables. And the summarization is not done through literally 'adding' the amounts; I do not want to expand on some technical details, but the groupping in SAP works in different way. Consider the group as a 'tag' you stick to an internal order, and the figures are summarized due to this 'tag'.

Eli

Hi,

Internal order groups (like other master data groups in SAP) are used for reporting purposes only. Nothing is posted on those groups; not manually, not by some 'summarization' program which simply does not exist :). If you want to see your figures summarized for I/O groups, just put this group/groups as the selection parameter for the relevant reports.

Eli
