Hi Sap experts, Internal Labor Planned / Actual Cost does not appear on the PM work order. Please let me know what necessary checks and settings to be done as a PM consultant in this case for the cost to be displayed?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello Shwetha,
This blog might be helpful to the new consultants facing cost setup issues on implementation projects and new folks who are all learning SAP PM with the new server.
Internal labour Planned/Actual Cost does not appear on the PM work order.
Steps are provided below to check the important necessary settings in SAP.
1. 1. If your Planned cost is not updated on the Work order, please check the following settings on “Operation Tab” Work, Number, and Duration are updated or not.
2. 2. Check the Work centre, (Double tap on the work centre or open it on T-Code: IR03) for all formulas and Cost centre and Activity type with formula.
Formula’s:
· Basic Data tab – ‘SAP0’
· Default Value tab – ‘PM01’ (Control key)
· Capacity Tab – ‘SAP008’
· Scheduling Tab – ‘SAP004’
· Costing Tab – Cost center, ActType Int.Proc. with Formula ‘SAP008’
3. 3. If all parameters are maintained correctly but still the cost is not showing up, then check KP26. (Cost centre and Activity type labour rates)
Maintain the Cost Center and Activity Type mentioned in the Work Center and click on the Overview.
4. 4. If the Labor rate is also maintained correctly Planned cost does not appear in the check Work order configuration T-code: OIOF or SPRO-> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-> Maintenance and Service Processing-> Maintenance and Service Orders-> Functions and Settings for Order Types-> Costing Data for Maintenance and Service Orders-> Assign Costing Parameters and Results Analysis Keys.
5. If Calculation parameters for maintenance orders are maintained, the Planned cost does not show up. Then check the Assign Cost Elements to Value Categories T-code: OIK2 or SPRO-> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-> Maintenance and Service Processing-> Basic Settings -> Settings for Display of Costs-> Assign Cost Elements to Value Categories.
6. 6. If Cost Elem. Group or Cost Elements are maintained correctly, Still Planned Cost is not showing up so check the Cost element on the Cost Elem. Group which is populated in the KP26 – 615000 (Ref. above point no. 3)
T-Code: KAH3- Display Cost element group
7. If it is not available, please add the Cost element to the Cost element group with the help of the FICO consultant.
It will show up.
