Dear Experts,
Good day. I wish to calculate interest on "Overdue" AR open items, meaning interest is computed if the AR open item has at least 1 day in arrears, therefore the very first interest calculation of an open item should start 1 day after the due date. However this is not what happens in my execution, because I cant see any reference date in the configuration that pertains to net due date.
Here is my configuration:
SCCUID 103459 - Prepare Interest Calculation
Here are my sample AR open items for which interests were calculated:
Here is my sample interest calculation.
I understand that since my reference date in the config is the Baseline Date, my First Interest Day in the screenshot above is the Baseline Date. However, I wish to have the Net Due Date as the First Interest Day so that the Interest Calculation From Date is the Net Due Date + 1, meaning the receivable is already "Overdue". In layman's viewpoint, we actually and normally compute interest for "overdue" items, therefore calculation should start the day after the due date.
May I request help if I missed our something in the configuration if there is an existing functionality that will meet my goal above.
Thank you very much.
Warm regards,
Cel
