Intercompany sales process possible between S/4 HANA on prem and S/4 HANA Cloud, public edition?

Hi,

I need to clarify, if the usage of the Intercompany sales process between S/4 HANA on prem system and S/4 HANA Cloud, public edition is possible. The on premise system is located in Germany, the Cloud-System is hosted in the US. The cloud system belongs to the US subsidiary. The headquarter is based in Germany and uses the on premise system. Both companies have different company codes as they are currently processed in two systems.

To make things easier between both parties, the Intercompany sales process is one idea. Would it work or do you have any better solutions?
