Hi,
My customer is starting the conversion from SAP ECC to S/4HANA 2023 FP2 Private Cloud Edition (RISE). They are running SAP PPM 6.1 integrated with their current SAP ECC system. First, they wanted to set up EPPM (would be greenfield) in S/4 during the conversion project. But now, they decided to do that later after S/4 Go live. Are there any specifics to be taken into account for the integration of their current on-premise SAP PPM version and S/4HANA 2023 FP2 Private Cloud Edition?
Many thanks for insights! Goedele

Yes correct: they want to keep PPM on premise and integrate that with their new S/4 HANA 2023 FP2 private cloud.

Hi Goedele,
this is a valid scenario. However you have to ensure that the communication between the OP and the PCE system is setup properly. For Financials, object links etc. I do not foresee any issues, it should be same as described in Note 2289330. The only thing that might be an issue with when it comes to Business Partner replication scenarios. However that largely depends on where BPs are produced and where they should be consumed, with local BPs it should again not be an issue.
