Integration between S/4Hana Public Cloud and non-SAP dashboard application

Hi,

I am new to the Integration topic and I would like to get a possible solution to enable a third party dashboard application to access data from the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system.

I am aware that S/4HANA Cloud provides pre-delivered APIs which could be leveraged. Or custom CDS Views could be built from whitelisted CDS Views and exposed as OData service to be consumed. Is SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) required for this?

S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition can integrate with SAP or non-SAP systems.

The first step I would suggest is you can check the API list page All | SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition | SAP Business Accelerator Hub

Find out from business perspective, which business data you would like to integrate with S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Then you can always find out the communication scenario, and then create the communication arrangement based on that. From there, you can integrate with your external systems
