Installing SAPB1 2007B

Earlier i have installed SAPB1 2005 B, but now i want to install SAPB1 2007B on the same system on which earlier i have installed SAP 2005B. by uninstalling it first.After uninstalling 2005B and then installing 2007B do i have to request license key again.. ?? Will hardware key gets changed??

Hi Divya,

there is detailed documentation called 'Accelerated Upgrade Program' for upgrade methodology, which documents every stage of upgrade (upgrade preparation, upgrade process, troubleshooting, maintenance).

This can be found at the following location on the service market place:

http://service.sap.com/smb/sbo

Goto:

Support > Online Support > Accelerated Upgrade Program

This should give you the detail you require.
