Hi everyone,
I have a problem with the generation of inspection point in relation to inspection type 03 when client creates manually a new routing, since with routing already created with massive migration there is not the problem.
So a Planner Production create a Routing and then a quality Responsible change the routing (with key date of routing) adding the inspection characteristic. First doubt: why if operation of routing validity is 20.11.24, the key date of characteristic is 21.11.24?
This key-date (21.11.24) is then viewable in the inspection lot 03 as key-date, instead usually the key date in inspection lot corresponds to date of release of production order. Why this difference?
Besides in this case the production order has been release in 28.11.24, so both 20.11 and 21.11 should go well for the system to read inspection characteristic and creating then the inspection point.
Where can be the problem? Someone has some suggests?
Thank you in advance,
Lorenzo

Greetings @lorenzo_dinicola,
Automatic inspection point creation is possible if you have defined a reference in operation detail.
I think per standard the inspection point is created once you start recording results - when you enter QE51N, system provides the possibility to enter results for inspection point as well as an option to create further inspection points.
If you want to create an inspection point automatically without reference you perhaps need to look into some development options.
Best regards, M.
