I have maintained an inspection plan for a raw material by uploading it using the migration cockpit. Then, an inspection lot was generated automatically, but it is showing as in 'Created' status ( CRTD CHCR SPRQ ). I maintained the inspection plan, then tried to assign it to the inspection lot, but it is showing 'Inspection plan not assigned.' Initially, the inspection lot was showing the current date, but after I used the 'Task/Specification Assign' option, it changed to a past date. How can I resolve this issue?

If a material has a revision level assigned , the key date of the revision level is used to find a valid inspection plan to use.
If the key date is before the valid from date of the inspection plan created then the inspection plan will not be assigned.
