Inspection Lot was created with wrong settings "Insp. with task list"

I do not want to use inspection plans for insp. lots, so normally I unchecked the checkbox "Insp. with task list" in the material master data - quality management tab of the material. Unforunatelly I have this checkbox checked for one material, and now a inspection lot was created, looking for a inspection plan (task list). Because no Insp. plan is maintained, the insp. lot is in status CRTD CHCR and I cannot do the usage decision.

What is the preferred solution to correct this situation and release the material?

Hi Matthais,

You cancel the inspection lot by reversing the Goods movement and then untick the flag in the QM setup of the Material Master

Hello Abhishek,

I solved the problem by creating an easy inspection plan (without chraracteristics) in QP01 and assigned this i.p. to the inspection lot in QA02. Then I had to calculate the sample size and now I was able to do the usage decision.
