Inspection lot number range status doesn't change

Hello!
I have an issue with inspection lot numbers.
We changed number range status "10000070900" for number range No. "01" via QA09 t-code.
The screenshot is available on the attachments. ("QA09 current.png")
After changing the number range status I tried to create some inspection lots.
You can see inspection lots' images, too. ("Inspection lots.png")
So, the inspections' numbers didn't occur as expected. Also, number range status didn't change after creating inspection lots.
I would want to mention that, I changed it 2 times. Unfortunately, the number range status doesn't perceive the latest version and don't change automatically.

We hope somebody had the same issue.
I look forward your solving ideas for this problem.

I actually never tried to change the status (i.e. the next number).

However, be aware that numbers are buffered on the application server. You can see the size of the buffer in SNRO.

It is not completely clear to me what you want to achieve. How about lowering the upper limit of the number range  to 10000070900, and create a new number range starting wherever you want, an reassign the inspection origins to the new number range.

Hello, what happens is that with the change of range for inspection class 01, you included the other inspection classes.

In our system the buffer in SNRO is set to 50 (object QLOSE). In order to see your change in number ranges you would have to create a maximum of 50 lots in that case in order to see your change appear. (depending on how far the numbers in the buffer have been handed out). Be aware that the buffer is handed out per SAP server. If you are running separate instances as backup servers that are kept in sync, there might be several buckets of 50 numbers handed out (1 bucket per server). This is also why you sometimes see gaps in number ranges that are filled somewhat later.

I agree with the peers who have answered earlier, it seems to be a buffering issue.
