Inspection lot not getting generated for customer stock using QA07

Users are not able to create inspection lot for reoccurring inspection type 09 using  QA07.

QA07 recurring inspection, type 09 does not create lots for customer special stock, for example, Consignment, sales order, project stock. It only evaluates plant-owned batches with stock in scope and a due Next Inspection Date. For the customer, the result of no lot created is expected behaviour.

Brief checks to ensure everything's on track

• Material master: type 09 active plus inspection interval maintained; batch has reached the Next Inspection Date, and unrestricted stock exceeds 0, or run QA07 for inspection stock at lot creation. SAP Learning

• If the stock is in special storage at the customer or project site, QA07 won’t be able to pick it up. Remember to move it back to plant stock if you need a 09 lot.
