Inspection lot not generating for material and Storage location Combination for STO

Hello all,

I am facing an issue while performing a goods receipt for a Stock Transfer Order (movement type 101). An inspection lot is not being generated for the material, and it is directly moving into unrestricted use for a specific storage location. For the same material, inspection type 08 is maintained. The inspection lot is generated for other storage locations, but not for this one.

Your assistance is needed to resolve this issue.

Hi Akash,

Some things to check:

Did you check the 'post to inspection stock' indicator for the inspection type in the material master?

Do you have a quality level in the stage SKIP (so GR in unrestricted)?

Thanks for your response.

According to your suggestion 

1. "Post to inspection stock" Indicator in place for material in Material master.
2. Checked quality level, There is no skip lot stage because DMR is not assign

The issue is when we post material against the STO (GRN) in with specific storage location that time it is moving stock to unrestricted. Others storage location correctly moving into quality stock.

Hi Akah, Is you receiving storage location IM / WM / EWM managed. As it is EWM managed than it could be that the inspection rule is not setup for the sending party.
