Inspection for customer returns in public

I observed that inspection type 06 (Inspection for Customer Returns) is not available on the public cloud. Do we have other possibilities or workarounds to enable inspection for customer returns?

Hi @Suresh_Eswaran,

Inspection Type 06 is not supported in SAP S/4HANA Public cloud.

As an alternative, you can use inspection type 05 for Lean return..

Steps to Execute:

1) Enable inspection type 05 for that return material in material master

2) Create Customer Return sales order

3) Created delivery for the Cutomer return Order.

4) Inspection lot will be generated

5) Post Goods Receipt will be restricted without completing Usage Decision (UD) for the 05 inspection lot.

6) Complete UD for the 05 inspection lot.

7) complete picking and the delivery by posting 653 movement.

Hi @Suresh_Eswaran Right now, in S/4HANA cloud public edition, there is No direct integration between customer returns (scope item BKP) and quality management (inspection lot) for material inspection in returns. if you want such integration, please raise the request in customer influence portal. Inspection lot origin 06 is not supported in Cloud currently . I checked in our upcoming S/4HANA Cloud 2408 System and its not available .

If you would like it added then please follow the KBA 2963059 ( https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2963059 ) and submit a feature request
