Hi ,
U can use inspecton type 04 itself ; only in addition u have to use inspection point in the Quality plan.

hi arun,
for manual lots i am using 89 insp.type .now my client requirement is he wants to create one inspection lot for first peice and he wants to extend the lot for (means one more partial lot)last peice.b'coz he wants to compare both lots. for that i have created one sampling procedure with indep.multimple samples indicator .
but now my problem is in results recording he wants to create another part.lot for every insp.char individually.so can't we create totally one more lot to compare results.
I hope u understand my query..
thanks in advance

1) Why are you using manual lots?
2) Why not 04 lots with physical samples.
3) Why in the world would the client want a new lot for each characteristic? I would love to hear this business process so I can understand it for future clients some day.
If that is what they want, you need to create one operation for each characteristic. So I would create a plan with
op. 10 - initial sample
op. 20 - test 1
op. 30 - test 2
etc.
etc.
op. 9000 - Final sample.
You sould set up the sample procedures and sample drawing procedure so each operation will have their own physical sample number assigned.

Hi,
Manually created inspection lots cannot manage stock i.e they are not stock relevant.
You may define your sampling qty appropriately in the inspection plan and use 04 insp type for creating lot automatically.

Hi Prasad...,
If you want to do inspection only twice a day that to for first and last peace of production then create manula inspection lot with inspection type "09". and do the results recording for it.
it will be used for stastical purpose also.
